Impact Statement: A review of all Listing Reports is necessary to determine which products comply with new/revised requirements and which products will require re-evaluation. NOTE: Effective immediately, this revised standard will be exclusively used for evaluation of new products unless the Applicant requests in writing that current requirements be used along with their understanding that their listings will be withdrawn on Effective Date noted above, unless the product is found to comply with new/revised requirements.

9.3.5 Additions to existing requirements are underlined and deletions are shown lined out below.

A cord-connected refrigerator mayshall employ Type S, SE, SO, SOO, ST, STO, STOO, SJ, SJE, SJO, SJOO, SJT, SJTO, or SJTOO power supply cord rated for use at a voltage not less than the rated voltage of the refrigerator. The ampacity of the cord as given in the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, shall be not less than that required by the ampere input measured in the Temperature and Pressure Test, Section 44, or the Defrost Test, Section 47. The ampere input value shall include the loads for convenience outlets and the current drawn by accessories intended for use with the refrigerator. See 87.3.1 and 87.3.2.
90InfoInstallation And Operating Instructions
90.2.1 New clause added;

With reference to 90.1, the instructions and warning statements required by 90.2.2 – 90.8 and SB6.2 shall be provided as printed material. All other instructions may be provided in electronic read-only media format, such as CD-ROM or web accessible URL. If electronic media instructions are provided, the instructions and warning statements required by 90.2.2 – 90.8 and SB6.2 shall also be included within the electronic media instructions.
90.2.2 New clause added;

The printed instruction material referenced in 90.2.1 shall contain detailed instructions of how to obtain a printed copy of the material contained in electronic format.
90.2.3 New clause added;

The instructions shall specify the minimum installation clearances to be maintained for refrigerators that are intended for installation with other than zero inch clearances, and have been tested with the enclosure spaced from the refrigerator in accordance with 44.7.
90.2.4 New clause added;

Additional instructions are specified in paragraphs 6.10, 9.2.5(b), 44.14, 54.4, and 54.5.
