Dr. Alastair Mak is a Scientific & Regulatory Manager, specializing in Toxicology with Intertek Scientific and Regulatory Consultancy. His responsibilities within the Food & Nutrition group include analyzing and critically assess scientific issues and preparing professional quality reports which interpret and summarize these issues. Alastair has also managed scientific projects related to food ingredients and prepared regulatory dossiers to support safety for submission to various authoritative bodies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Health Canada, and the European Food Safety Authority.
Alastair received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Toronto.
