Turkey CLP Regulation Services
Intertek‘s experts can help you successfully comply with the chemical classification, labeling, and notification requirements of the new Turkey CLP Regulation.
Turkey’s new Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation recently proposed a draft Regulation to align its chemical classification and labeling requirements with the EU CLP Regulation. The forecasted publication year is 2012.
The proposed deadlines for classification, labeling and notifications are:
- Labeling and notifications to the proposed classification and labelling (C&L) inventory for substances on the market deadline is 1 January 2014.
- Mixtures would have to meet the new classification and labelling requirements from 1 June 2015, while those mixtures already on the market on 1 June 2015 would have to be re-labelled by 1 June 2017
- substances placed on the market after this date would have to be notified within one month
