3D Measuring - ISO 294-4
Intertek provides 3 dimensional measurements for a wide range of materials including plastics.
Intertek accurately measures the dimensions of plastic and polymeric articles using a 3-D ISO 294-4 measuring device. The accuracy is dependant on the size of the article but will be about 4 µm. A typical application for this technique is the combination with injection molding to determine the so called mold shrinkage. The method is based on ISO 294-4.
