Intertek’s Senior Director will present at the 10th Workshop on Recent Issues in Bioanalysis (10th WRIB). Meet our experts at Exhibition Booth 36.

Intertek’s Senior Director, Dr Michael H. Buonarati, will present at the 10th Workshop on Recent Issues in Bioanalysis (10th WRIB), April 18 - 22, 2016, Downtown Disney Orlando, FL, USA. Dr Buonarati’s presentation will be entitled "Method Development in the Bioanalysis of Ocular Fluids and Ocular Tissues".

Bioanalysis plays an important role in support of drug efficacy and safety studies during ocular drug development such as medicines to treat glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration or infection. Ocular tissue bioanalysis is particular challenging because of the complexity of the eye, small sample sizes and low levels of drug and metabolite concentrations in samples.  Intertek has devoted over 20 years to developing applying highly sensitive and accurate LC-MS bioanalytical methods to helping clients to develop effective and safe ocular medicines.

Our team of experts in both small molecule and large molecule bioanalysis will also be on hand to discuss all bioanalytical topics at Exhibition Booth 36. Our laboratories have been providing Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliant bioanalytical services to global pharmaceutical clients supporting their preclinical and clinical studies and immunogenicity assessment for over 20 years.

The WRIB (Workshop on Recent Issues in Bioanalysis) workshops are attended by representatives of over 500 professionals representing pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, and multiple regulatory agencies. These workshops present an ideal forum for discussion between all stakeholders who are working together in the field of bioanalysis to improve global health with the focus on the latest challenges the bioanalytical community is facing for both small molecule and large molecule bioanalysis.
