Founded in 1999 by Jo Marie Smolec, Ph.D., MBA, the research facility is located in San Diego, California. The Senior Laboratory Director is Dominique Gouty. Intertek acquired Alta Immunochemistry (Alta Analytical Laboratory) in December, 2006.
