Size and particle size distribution of particulate samples are essential parameters, and their ongoing, accurate monitoring ensures product consistency. High throughput DLS is used by our experts in routine studies of particles in solutions, dispersed systems, and biologics, such as proteins, in solution. The instrument can perform a combination of the three most important parameters for the colloid and polymer chemist and these are particle size analysis, zeta potential measurement and molecular weight measurement.

The instrumentation is qualified to GLP and cGMP standards which means that the data can be used in regulatory projects, pharmaceutical QC or to support product development.     An avalanche-photodiode detector and fibre detection optics give the sensitivity and stability required for absolute molecular weight measurement.
