Intertek ASG Laboratory provides testing and R&D support for clients in the life science and fine chemical industries.

Intertek ASG provides a broad range of advanced scientific and contract analytical research services to clients involved in the development and manufacture of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, materials technology, fine and specialty chemicals.
Intertek ASG expertise supports research into small molecule therapeutics, macromolecule drugs (monoclonal antibodies, oligonucleotides, recombinant proteins, vaccines) as well as formulated products and regenerative medicines. The laboratory is one of the largest purpose built analytical facilities in the UK, and is renowned for problem-solving in support of R&D programs, novel product development and manufacturing processes. 
The facility is inspected and approved by the UK Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for GLP  (PDF 229KB) and GMP  (PDF 1.4MB) compliance, and by the US FDA for cGMP compliance.

Intertek acquired ASG (Analytical Sciences Group) in May 2004.  Founded in the 1940's, this laboratory has a rich heritage as a provider of analytical chemistry and scientific support services initially within ICI Pharmaceuticals, then Zeneca and latterly Avecia.  Intertek ASG is located in Manchester, UK,
