Document Permanence Testing ISO 9706 2000

Requirements for document paper permanence.

The standard specifies and identifies paper, which according to the present state of knowledge, has a high degree of permanence and is likely to undergo little or no change in properties that influence readability or handling, when stored in a protected environment for long periods of time.

Papers that comply with the requirements may be identified with a symbol and statement of compliance. Intertek Paper Technology Group is able to offer full testing of papers to assess compliance with ISO 9706.
