Cardboard Packaging Mineral Oil Testing
Intertek experts analyse mineral oil levels in recycled cardboard packaging materials, including the identification of the specific migration of mineral oil from the packaging material into foodstuff.
Intertek experts identify the level of mineral oil (MOH) in cardboard or recycled cardboard or paper, including the amount of mineral oil migration from the packaging material into the foodstuff in levels of 0.6 mg/kg.
Testing will be handled by using MPPO (absorption powder) as a simulant. It is also possible to develop an analytical method to determine the amount of mineral oil in the actual foodstuff.
Intertek experts are also able to determine the specific content of mineral oil saturated hydrocarbons (MOHS) or mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbons (MOAH).
