Intertek launches UK Automotive Certification service offering

Intertek, a leading global Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, today launched its new UK automotive certification service offering.
The recognised and often mandated standard within the automotive supply chain, ISO/TS 16949, was replaced in October 2016 with the International Automotive Task Force IATF 16949:2016 standard to reflect the fast changing requirements in the sector. Intertek Business Assurance UK today announced it is accredited to certify against this standard, which is considered an essential requirement for any business operating across the automotive supply chain.
In addition, Intertek offers a range of further automotive testing and certification services, including training and gap analysis as well as assurance services related to product quality and safety, to enable businesses to compete and differentiate their offering within the global automotive supply chain.
