About Hi-Tech Testing Services, Inc. (Hi-Tech)

Hi-Tech Testing Services, Inc. joined Professional Service Industries, Inc. in 2012. The company is a leader in the provision of non-destructive testing services to the oil and gas, chemical, transportation and fabrication industries in the U.S. Hi-Tech partners with customers and provides vital testing and inspection services during the lifecycle of an asset, particularly during construction and facility management. Hi-Tech delivers trusted technical services that meet the structural integrity and asset management needs of its customers.

What is NDT?

NDT is used to detect anomalies and defects in industrial components, fabrications and piping without disrupting operations or damaging the material. Techniques such as radiography, ultrasonics and other advanced imaging technologies can be used to monitor the condition of industrial assets throughout the project life cycle: from construction to operations, maintenance to decommissioning or life extension. There is a growing demand for NDT services during the operational and decommissioning of assets such as pipelines, structures, tanks, railcars and pressure–containing equipment, where high-quality NDT services help customers seeking to reduce risk and improve the integrity and lifetime of their assets.
