Tradegood Launches in East Africa

LONDON--Intertek Government and Trade Services together with Tradegood, a B2B sourcing community enabled by Intertek, is expanding its international service scope by launching the Tradegood web-portal service to importers and buyers based in East Africa. Tradegood connects responsible buyers and importers with trusted and reliable suppliers from more than 100 countries.
Tradegood is the sourcing tool trusted by some of the world's largest brands, as well as by prominent buyer and supplier groups, including the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), GermanFashion Association of Germany, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), and the India Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC).
Intertek Government and Trade Services are actively assisting the governments of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda to certify the products imported into their countries to improve quality and safety through the Pre Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) to Standards programmes. Intertek has been declared an Approved Inspection Body, which enables us to issue the mandatory Certificates of Conformity required for customs clearance in these countries.
Tradegood creates buyer and supplier confidence through qualification and verification, and because a Tradegood supplier is reputable and transparent they are best placed to meet the requirements of the Export Verification of Conformity programme and thus be granted the mandatory Certificate of Conformity.
The launch events will be held on Monday 18th November in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Tuesday 19th November in Nairobi, Kenya and Wednesday 20th November in Kampala, Uganda. Seating is limited and only available on a pre-booking basis. For further information please email info.government@intertek.com.
