Intertek Expands Mineral Services in Brazil

(Sao Paulo) Intertek, the leading quality solutions provider to industries worldwide, today announced the expansion of its mining and mineral industry support services in Brazil with the addition of operations in the São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Pará states. Intertek supports the mining industry supply-chain in Brazil with a wide range of technical services, from mineral exploration and production to bulk marine cargo shipments.
Intertek mineral laboratories now operational in Brazil include Aratu (Bahia), Cotia (SP), Nova Lima (MG) and Parauapebas (Pará). Intertek supports the export of minerals in key port locations including Belém (Pará), Santana (Amapá), São Luiz (Maranhão), Fortaleza (Ceará), Vitória (Espírito Santo), Manaus (Amazonas) and Rio de Janeiro.
