Intertek Strengthens Position as the Leading Expert Service Support Provider for the Analytical Sciences Sector

Allentown, PA - Intertek (LSE: ITRK), a leading provider of quality and safety solutions serving a wide range of industries around the world, today announced that Dr. Junyan (Jeremy) Zhong joined the company as a senior scientist in NMR.

Dr. Zhong will help to further strengthen Intertek’s position as a leading provider of chemical and pharmaceutical services and increases our depth of knowledge to add customer value to industries including health and beauty, home products and chemical producers.
Dr. Zhong joins Intertek from Old Dominion University where he served as NMR Facility Manager. Prior to Old Dominion University, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both City University of New York and Clark University. Dr. Zhong holds a Ph.D., NMR and physical chemistry from Clark University with his Dissertation: Characterization of transport and dynamics for penetrants in nanocomposites by NMR. Jeremy brings extensive experience across a range of NMR techniques, including solid state NMR, as well as knowledge of a range of chemistries, including natural products and biomass as well as traditional synthetic chemistries.
