Intertek Commercial Microbiology® testing media is used by clients on a global basis to sample and investigate bacteria discovered in oil and gas process systems, and for applications such as potable drinking water testing.

Manufactured at Commercial Microbiology®, the media test kits are fully checked by our quality system under ISO 9000 standards to ensure the highest quality prior to dispatch.

Microbial test media kits available: 

• Sulphate Reducing Bacteria growth isolation media types:
  • MPB Medium, API Medium, SRB/2 Medium, Rapid Check II Kits
    GHB/GAB media: suitable for the isolation of general heterotrophic
    bacteria: Phenol Red Dextrose (PRD), Standard Bacteriological
    Nutrient (SBN)
   
• GanB growth media, suitable for the isolation of general anaerobic
  heterotrophic bacteria:
  • Fastidious Anaerobe (FAB), Thioglycollate (TGC)
