Portable Fire Extinguisher Certification
Intertek offers choice and variety for obtaining third-party safety certification for portable fire extinguishers. Our partnership with the Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) has created new testing options for manufacturers seeking all-around expertise.
Intertek and SwRI have teamed up to provide the highest quality in testing and certification services for portable fire extinguishers to be sold in the North American market. Approved products will receive Intertek's ETL Listed Mark for safety certification, and manufacturers will enjoy the option to consolidate multiple certification schemes with a single NRTL. As always, Intertek's priority remains efficiency in testing and certification to deliver speed to market.
