Populate the Central Station Application Form (DOC)

Contact us today to get started! You will receive a follow-up call within 24 hours, at which time your Intertek Account Manager will answer your questions and prepare a customized quotation per your certification needs. Upon return of your completed Central Station Application and signed quotation, we will work with you to set up the initial inspection date for your central station facility.

Intertek will conduct an audit of your facility, and will generate a report of findings to be released within 5 business days. This summary will outline any deficiencies or observations identified during the inspections and provide a timeline for resolution. Upon satisfactory review of the central station, and subsequent responses regarding any deficiencies, Intertek will release a formal Certificate of Compliance to you for display.

In order to initiate the File Conversion or Dual Listing process, you must first submit the following information:

  • Copy of your current NRTL Certificate(s)
  • Copies of your recent NRTL inspections/audit reports

Intertek’s Alarm Service Program Manager will conduct a formal review and verify the qualifications of the service provider verses the documentation submitted, and will notify you of any outstanding items in writing within 5 business days. This summary will outline any deficiencies or observations identified during the inspections and provide a timeline for resolution. Upon satisfactory review of the central station, and subsequent responses regarding any deficiencies, Intertek will release a formal Certificate of Compliance to you for display.

 

Becoming an ETL Listed Alarm Service Company

If your central station is a full service alarm provider, meaning you also offer installation and maintenance services, and you want to provide Intertek ETL Certificates at installation sites, you will be subject to the requirements as outlined here.

  

Annual Follow-Up Services Inspection Process:
Once your Central Station has established a Listing, your will be subject to an annual audit by Intertek. The auditor will conduct an annual review of the facility to ensure that all of applicable standard and code requirements are being met and maintained.

Once inspection has been completed, the Intertek Alarm Auditor will release a report of findings within 5 business days. This summary will outline any deficiencies or observations identified during the inspections and provide a timeline for resolution. Upon satisfactory review of your central station, and subsequent responses regarding any deficiencies, Intertek will release a formal Certificate of Compliance to the Central Station for display.
