Halon Analysis
Intertek can analyze the halons 1301 and 1211, along with others such as halon 1201, halon 1202, halon 2402, and fluoroiodocarbons such as iodotrifluoromethane.
Standard methods used include:
- Mil–B-38741 – Military Specification Bromochlorodifluoromethane, Technical
- ISO 7201 – ISO Standard for Halon 1211 and 1301
- Mil–M-12218C – Military Specification Monobromotrifluoromethane Technical Grade for Fire Extinguisher
- ASTM D 5632 – Standard Specification for Halon 1301, Bromotrifluoromethane
- Mil specs for Halon 1201, 1202 and 2402
