Marine Licensing and Stability Training
Intertek develops marine personnel competency, preparing them for licensing.
Intertek's customized stability courses help fill a void that has existed in the oil and gas industry for many years.
We provide US Coast Guard (USCG) and IADC-approved instructional services, consultation, and offshore marine support to drilling contractors and floating production facility operators worldwide.
An added value we offer for all Mariners enrolled in our licensing classes is to include application services, USCG user fees, First Aid/CPR, and USCG physicals at no additional charge. This is a potential savings of up to USD $600 per Mariner.

This five-day workshop prepares candidates for the USCG licensing exam. Upon successful completion, candidates present their certificates of training at a USCG Regional Exam Center or National Maritime Center for official licensing. If preferred, we can complete the application process for the Mariner. Assistance is also available to aid Mariners with endorsements or to convert USCG licenses to other reciprocating Flag States such as Vanuatu, Marshall Islands, Liberia, and Panama.
USCG Approved Stability Courses
This five-day course is offered for a wide range of offshore vessels including MODUs, TLPs, SPARs, and Floating Offshore Installation Units. Upon successful completion, candidates are presented their certification, which may be applied toward a USCG or Foreign Flag State License.
