In the high risk drilling environment, unscheduled events are very costly. Intertek's DWOP/CWOP training can mitigate these risks by capturing the synergy of combining two important drilling concepts, the Technical Limit Process and the Continuous Improvement Process.
The Technical Limit Process uses an actual well plan, assuming flawless operation, based upon current knowledge and technology. The drilling team is assembled to review the well plans using the Continuous Improvement Process:

During this training session, various well control scenarios are discussed. The team then develops a plan to improve performance based on the lessons learned. This plan addresses the need to control project costs, while working safely and productively.
