Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Services

Intertek, a global leader in regulatory support, product conversion, product assessments, and testing, prepares new and updates existing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS – now known as SDS) to REACH (Regulation 2006/1907/EC), CLP (Regulation 2008/1272/EC) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) standards.

Many companies are unaware of their data obligations to GHS and REACH. The new 16 point data format for the SDS sheets is required for substances that are to be shipped into the European Union. Safety Data Sheets are commonly reviewed upon import into the EU and products with non-compliant or non-updated SDS will not be allowed to pass customs.
