Many companies are unaware of their safety data sheet obligations for regulations such as REACH, CLP, and GHS. The new 16 point data format for the SDS sheets is required for substances that are to be shipped into the European Union. Safety Data Sheets are commonly reviewed upon import into the EU and products with non-compliant or non-updated SDS will not be allowed to pass customs.
