Verfication Services: Production Services

Intertek's range of Verification of Production Services have been developed for those clients who need eyes and ears on the shop floor to ensure they receive exactly the goods they ordered.

Our Production Services include:

IPC (Initial Production Checks)

Intertek will inspect the raw materials and components prior to production. After product samples are provided, we will verify that correct materials, components and accessories have been ordered by the factory to your specifications

We will randomly select and inspect a sample of partially produced products for potential defects, then report our findings to you.

DUPRO (During Production Checks)

This services is ideal for shipments of larger quantities, product lines with continuous production, strict requirements for on-time shipments, and as a follow-up if poor results are found during Pre-Production Inspection. Intertek will inspect the production batch and examine products in the line for possible defects, normally when 10-15% of the merchandise is completed. We will identify if there are any deviations, and offer advice on corrective measures and re-check any defects during Pre-Production Inspection to confirm they have been rectified.

FRI (Final Random Inspections)

This can only begin after production has been completed and packed ready for shipment. Using a statistical method used by industry standards, we will sample products to verify:

• Product Safety
• Quantity
• Workmanship
• Function
• Colour
• Size
• Packing
• And more

This will ensure your product is consistent and compliant with all country, industry or otherwise-specified requirements and that no critical major or minor defects appear.

At every stage of the production cycle our Intertek inspector will produce a full and detailed inspection report, together with a photographic record allowing your to see the work undertaken.

Commercial Manufacturing Expediting Services

Assuring you that milestones, timing of production, planning and work related procedures are being met within the agreed terms of the work schedules. Informing you or the end receiver of any deviations in order to correct the non-conformity.
