Trust and Authenticity is always a big concern within the e-commerce industry, which deters consumers from shopping online, especially for medical, electrical, personal care and luxury products where there are concerns about product authenticity and safety.

With several incidents in E-commerce purchase, Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC) has launched its Trust Mark scheme to represent Asia in Global E-commerce in cooperation with the E-commerce Foundation, to create Hong Kong as a Trusted Port in the Asia region.

Trust can be built through Platform Security, E-merchant Credibility, Product Authenticity and Consumer Assurance etc. All of these allow customers to recognise your e-platform that goes above and beyond to prove your quality commitment to your clientele.
