Intertek Government and Trade Services, pioneers of Conformity Assessment Programmes, to exhibit at Beauty World in Dubai

Intertek, a Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, will be exhibiting at Beauty World Middle East from 8th to 10th May in Dubai. Beauty World is one of the largest international trade fairs for buyers of beauty products, hair care, fragrances and wellbeing in the region. Hosting over 1,700 exhibitors from 56 countries and more than 41,000 visitors from 139 countries, the 23rd edition of Beauty World Middle East brings together a mix of innovation, path-breaking trends, the most flamboyant and talented professionals and truly revolutionary products.
During the event, attendees will have a chance to meet experts from Intertek Government and Trade Services to discuss the Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification services offered to the Cosmetics, Perfumery and Personal Care Products industry. These services include safety and quality testing, regulatory compliance, REACH, toxicology, raw material quality assurance and international registration and ECOSMA (the electronic cosmetic notification system for Saudi Arabia). Furthermore, attendees can discuss with our Intertek experts how to comply with the requirements of Conformity Assessment Programmes for exports to countries in the Middle East, Africa and Russia. These programmes have been introduced to give consumers total quality assurance when purchasing goods such as cosmetics and healthcare products.
Intertek can issue the necessary certificates to meet these countries standards and has recently been appointed in the UAE as a Notified Body for Cosmetics, Perfumery and Personal Care Products (TR UAE GSO 1943) and is authorised to issue the mandatory Certificate of Conformity and/or Quality Mark on behalf of ESMA.
