Intertek to Present and Exhibit at Hi Japan 2017

Health Ingredients (Hi) Japan, Asia’s largest ingredients trade show, celebrates its 28th anniversary this year bringing together professionals in the functional ingredients industry around the world. Stakeholders will gather to learn more about the continuing development of functional ingredients and the health benefits that they provide. Attendees will get the latest information on natural food ingredients, organic ingredients, food additives, cosmeceuticals, substances for supplements and learn more about contract manufacturing services.
Today, people are giving more attention to functional foods, supplements and nutraceuticals; this market is expected to grow significantly in Japan over the coming years. Discovering functional ingredients and finding new and valuable ways of usage is a major focus in the food, nutraceuticals and pharmaceutical industries. This is a must-attend event as it will serve as a global platform offering the opportunity to drive product development initiatives forward. - The current situation for novel foods in the EU, including trends in ingredient approvals;
- The main changes which will be brought about by the new regulation;
- Traditional foods for third countries; and
- Implications and opportunities for industry.
