Intertek announces sponsorship of CME & Manufacturing Month laboratory tours

(Mississauga, ON) Intertek, a leading provider of quality solutions to industries worldwide, is pleased to announce a sponsorship agreement with Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, including support for CME’s Manufacturing Month – offering tours at their Lachine, Quebec and Mississauga, Ontario testing laboratories on October 8th and 14th respectively.
“Intertek’s expertise and services span virtually every industry across the globe from agricultural and automotive to textiles and toys, from building products to electronics, food, pharmaceuticals, petroleum, and cargo inspections and analysis,” states Joe Keating, Intertek’s Managing Director for Canada. “Through our sponsorship of CME, we want Canadian companies to know they can count on Intertek to get their products tested and certified - supporting their access to the global marketplace.”
As part of Manufacturing Month activities, Intertek is hosting two open house events which include laboratory tours, lunch and optional technical talks on topics ranging from “Electrical Safety & Performance Testing” to “Product Performance Benchmarking” and “ISO Certification and Custom Audit Solutions”. These events bring together Intertek experts from several divisions for an afternoon of networking and Q&A with existing and prospective customers.
