Back-up depth encoders supply Wireline operators with valuable and accurate depth information in the event of power loss.
The DM-100 backup depth encoder is a small low-cost system designed to provide independent depth measurement.
The DM-100 differs from many depth-logging systems on the market, as it doesn’t use a conventional speedo cable; it uses a digital signal generated by a small encoder attached to the measuring wheel.

- Internal battery maintains depth in the event of mains power failure
