Eco-Design Directive (ErP): Analysis of the Television Implementing Measure
As of November 20, 2009, the Energy using Products (EuP) Directive was replaced with the Energy related Products (ErP) Directive. The more comprehensive Energy-related Products (ErP) Directive now covers energy using products and products that impact energy consumption, such as windows, taps and showerheads. The Implementing Measures for Televisions (642/2009) became a reality in August 2009 and specified minimum requirements in four increasingly ambitious stages, starting in January 2010 and finishing in April 2012. Download our new white paper and learn more about the ErP process and the regulations for televisions.
