Eco-Design Directive (EuP): Analysis of External Power Supplies Implementing Measure

Are you aware of the implementing measure for external power supplies? The EC Regulation no 278/2009 for external power supplies (EPS) entered into effect earlier this year. The implementing measure (IM) for EPS, also known as product requirements will be enforced in two stages with different minimum requirements. The first stage will come into effect in April 2010 and the second stage in April 2011. Some of the products affected are: portable computers, cell phones and MP3 Players.
