This is a documentary review to ensure that all ingredients used in the cosmetic product meet the restriction and limitation of the regulatory agencies.

In the United State, FDA has restricted a series of chemicals and color additives from being used in cosmetics (Title 21 CFR). In the European Union, there are currently over 1,100 prohibited chemicals and several hundred restricted chemicals, preservatives and color additives (per the European Directive for Cosmetic Products 76/768/EEC).
