Overview
Do you have to source fabrics? Or deal with suppliers of fabrics and garments? Does the bewildering array of technical terms used confuse you?

This seminar will give an introductory overview to different fibre types in common use, how they are made into yarns and an outline of fabric manufacture. You should leave the seminar knowing, amongst other things, what a man-made fibre is, what different yarn counts mean, why a warp knit is not the same as a weft knit, and what ends and picks are. This seminar is ideally suited to buyers, merchandisers and junior technologists.
