By taking over 70% of world toy output, China has become the toy manufacturing center of the world.
At the same time, as the biggest developing country, with about 260 million children under 14 years joined by the expanding consumption group of adult toys, China stands firm as one of the biggest consumption country of toys. However, as for the numerous toy manufacturers in China, the ever changing external environment makes it an urgent task for them to grasp the valuable opportunity of the booming domestic market.
GB 6675 is a basic rule complied with the toys. The standard is applicable to all toys (including trial products and premiums) sold in China. Also, the new Sewed plush and cloth toys called GB/T 9832, which was effective from Sep 2008, has set the quality requirements for plush toys, especially the quality of fillings and the fineness of decorative lines. Regarding various kinds of toys, the state has introduced related standards.
