Intertek Thailand Hosts Seminar for the Thai Furniture Industries Association Members
On July 23, Intertek Consumer Goods Thailand presented “US & EU Standards / Regulations for Thai Furniture Industry” to members of the Thai Furniture Industries Association (TFA) at the Chaophya Park Hotel, Bangkok.
Nearly 60 participants, including Thai exporters and wooden furniture manufacturers, attended the event. Intertek presenters included:
- Mr. Chonnawat Kapillakarn – Assistant Manager, Toys & Hardlines, who presented information on furniture testing standards for US & EU market.
- Ms. Phanit Hitapong – Division Manager, Toys & Hardlines, who highlighted the impact of REACH and CARB Regulations to the exporters.
Mr. Paiboon Pinitkanjanaphan, President of TFA, was the honorable guest and delivered the opening speech. The seminar offered Intertek Thailand the opportunity to introduce our furniture related services to the public and build recognition among the Thai furniture industry.
