Newly Certified Auditors Move Toward a Brighter Future
Some hundred guests attended the CPI Seminar cum Certificate Conferring Ceremony held at the Shenzhen Novotel Bauhinia Hotel on 31 July 2010, during which information on CPI, City & Guilds and the upcoming TGI Environmental Auditor Program was given. Twenty practitioners were also conferred CPI certificates which represent excellence and quality by Mr. William Quilindo, Chairman of CPI.
Among them, Yi Jing was granted the accolade of “CPI Top Student of the Season”. She shared on stage the benefits she gained from the Program which included linking the bits and pieces she knew about auditing with a comprehensive and systematic approach, allowing her to have a better grip on her job as a HR and administrative manager of a China porcelain manufacturer.
Ada Fung, vendor compliance manager of a US garment company, who had also completed the course in Shenzhen, shared similar views with Yi Jing during an interview with CPI and City & Guilds in Hong Kong on Aug 6. “The Program allows me to look into my audit tasks from a holistic point of view," Ada explained, "CPI provides me with a pathway to all-round compliance training and global recognition which I had been looking for in the field for years. Expanding my skills is equivalent to bringing my company's standard to a new height. I am very happy about that."
