Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, successfully completed its inaugural launch seminar in Hong Kong “Intertek New Audit solutions Information Day” from June 7 through June 9.The three days information day delivered the latest audit solutions involving environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility, security and quality assessments. The seminar attracted over 80 representatives from leading retailer brands, buying offices and factories who also actively joined discussions and showed keen interest on the new audit solutions.Discussion topics include:

• Supplier Qualification Program (SQP) - Manufacture with Confidence 
• Workplace Conditions Assessment (WCA) - Measured Results : Improved Performance

One of the highlights of the events is the very first TGI Achievement Award ceremony on June 8. The award is a testament to factory’s diligence in continuous improvements and best in class environmental practice. Followed with the ceremony, a case study was presented by the award recipient, TTI Group, leading manufacturer of consumer and professional power tools. The presentation showed how TGI played a role as their partner in environment sustainability solutions and how TGI brought significant cost reductions after implementing the program.
