Intertek Expands Chemical Lab in Mauritius
Intertek Mauritius has enhanced its presence and capabilities though an expansion of its chemical lab. The lab now offers more specialized and innovative equipment for performing fiber composition analysis on textiles including cotton, viscose, modal, polyester, polyamide, acrylic, wool and other fiber blends. Intertek Mauritius can also perform colorfastness to saliva using the 35 LM BG 83 method, which is required for infant products.
The expansion of Intertek laboratory services in Mauritius supports the growing demand and need for testing services in the market. The expanded chemical lab enables local clients, as well as clients in the surrounding countries like Madagascar and Reunion Islands, to save crucial time and costs associated with the process of shipping test samples to distant lab locations.
