Intertek Opens Textile and Footwear Testing Customer Service Center Xiamen, China
In April 2010, Intertek’s Consumer Goods division established service center in Xiamen, China, to provide our customers in the area more efficient and convenient consumer product testing services.
In recent years, exports from the Fujian province have increased exponentially as many apparel and athletic shoe brand have gained worldwide popularity. With the development of Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone, Xiamen has attracted business from more and more Chinese and overseas companies due to its advantageous geographic location and business environment, resulting in a prosperous economy.
To better serve our growing customer base in this area, the Xiamen service center provides textile, footwear and leathergoods performance testing. Other services include environmental testing, such as dimensional stability, colour fastness, physical performance assessment and chemical analysis of textiles and apparel; colour fastness, strength and performance testing, final product testing and accessory testing of footwear and leathergoods; and consumer product testing including CPSIA, AZO, PAHs, Phthalates and PFOS.
