Intertek Thailand Provides REACH Training and Workshop to Panasonic Ecology Systems (Thailand) and Next Sourcing (Thailand)

Though REACH has been enforced since 1 June 2007, there are still some exporters, importers and manufacturers that do not have a clear understanding in this regulation. Intertek Thailand takes this opportunity to promote a training and workshop course on REACH to the various industries such as toys, furniture, baby products, electrical & electronic products and tableware.

 

Intertek provides a one day course of both public and in-house training. The most popular course for the Thailand market is a tailored in-house training at the client’s office allowing them to focus on their products. The course contents are divided into the general requirements on REACH and a workshop on SDS (Safety Data Sheet) and calculation of SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern). Ms. Phanit Hitapong, Division Manager, Toys & Hardlines Division, is the professional trainer who shares her knowledge and experiences to all participants.

In March, we conducted 2 in-house training courses for 2 well-known companies i.e. Panasonic Ecology Systems (Thailand) and Next Sourcing (Thailand) which included their vendors that are both fabric and garment factories. Feedbacks from the participants were well received.
