Intertek Mexico Accredited under Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)

In direct response to customer demand for excess testing capacity and robust quality solutions on consumer products sourced from Mexico and Latin America, Intertek Mexico is now recognized by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as an accredited laboratory to test for the Lead in Paint and Similar Surface Coatings regulation - 16 CFR Part 1303. Additional Intertek labs in Latin America are expected to be CPSC recognized/accredited within the coming months and have or are in the process of expanding their operations to accommodate both industry and customer demands.
