The Jiangsu Bureau of Quality and Technical supervision launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for women’s undergarments in the first season of 2016. The spot check inspected 37 batches of samples; 3 batches were found unqualified.

(Outdoor) Sports Garments, Textile Products and Footwear

The Tonghua Administration of Industry and Commerce launched a product quality supervision and inspection for (outdoor) sports garments, textile products and footwear on behalf of the Jilin Administration of Industry and Commerce.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB 5296.4-2012 “Instructions for use of products of consumer interest – Part 4: Textiles and apparel,” GB/T 29862 “Textiles – Identification of Fiber Content,” GB 20400-2006 “Leather and fur – Limit of harmful matter,” GB 28011-2011 “Shanks for footwear.”

Footwear

The Baishan Administration of Industry and Commerce launched a product quality supervision and inspection for footwear on behalf of the Jilin Administration of Industry and Commerce. The spot check inspected 68 batches of samples; 31 batches were failed; the failure rate was 41.59%.

This spot check was conducted according to QB/T 1002-2005 “Leather Shoes,” GB 28011-2011 “Shanks for footwear,” and relevant standards. The key items inspected on these samples were stiffness of shank, peeling strength of upper and sole, abrasion resistance, attachment strength of heel.

Primary failed item: appearance, labeling, stiffness of shank, the minimum length of shank, abrasion resistance, whole shoe flexing and peeling strength of upper and sole
