ISO 26000:2010 Awareness Training

ISO 26000:2010 Guidance on Social Responsibility is an ISO International Standard giving guidance on Social Responsibility. It is intended for use by organizations of all types, in both public and private sectors, in developed and developing countries, as well as in economies in transition. It will assist those organizations in their efforts to operate in a socially responsible manner that society increasingly demands.

ISO 26000:2010 is intended to assist organizations in contributing to sustainable development. It is intended to encourage the organization to go beyond legal compliance, recognizing that compliance with law is a fundamental duty of any organization and an initial part of the social responsibility. It is intended to promote common understanding in the field of social responsibility, and to complement other instruments and initiatives for social responsibility, not to replace them.
