Intertek’s IRCA Accredited ISO 50001:2011 Lead Auditor Course aims to provide training for potential Energy Management System Lead Auditors and Auditors. The course meets the training requirements of the International Register of Certificated Auditors for registration as an IRCA recognized EMS auditor/lead auditor and provides delegates with an in-depth knowledge and skills in auditing in order to carry out energy management system audits.
The main objective of Energy Management System Standard is to regulate the overall framework for management of energy efficiency and to support the organizations at the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of systems and processes, necessary for increasing the energy efficiency. The application of this standard leads to reduction of energy costs, emissions of greenhouse gases and other environmental impacts through systematic energy management.
The training course comprises topics related to the overall concept for Energy Management System Standard, the types of audits, and the terminology of the Energy Management System, review of the requirements of the ISO 50001:2011 Standard, the relations with other standards, auditing process and, audit techniques.
The training course provides the participants with knowledge and skills related to preparation, planning, conducting and reporting audits assessing the compliance of Energy Management Systems with the requirements of ISO 50001:2011 Standard.
The combination of presentations, discussions, case-studies (individual and team) aims to develop understanding and lasting skills to be used in your professional career.
After the training:

- You will be able to assess the compliance of the system against the requirements of the ISO 50001:2011 standard;
