Internal Auditor training Programme for AS 9100 Rev C

(QMS Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defence Organisation)

AS9100 is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry.

AS9100 Rev C replaces the earlier AS 9100 Rev B and fully incorporates the current version of ISO 9001, while adding additional requirements relating to quality and safety. Major aerospace manufacturers and suppliers worldwide require compliance and/or registration to AS9100 as a condition of doing business with them. AS9100 Revision C was released in January, 2009.

The International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) released revision C to AS9100 Aerospace Standard for the aviation, space, and defence industries. The new requirements are intended to make significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the value stream. AS 9100 Standard includes several new requirements and clauses that focus on planning, project management, risk management and configuration management etc.

Because of this revision in the AS9100 Aerospace Standard, competence of internal auditors is the most important factor for ensuring effective implementation of the AS 9100 standard requirements. AS 9100 internal auditors require understanding of the standard, stake holder requirements, statutory and regulatory requirements, skill of auditing, and finally the application of these in most complex situations.

This Internal Auditor training programme empowers employees to identify any gaps that challenge the effectiveness of organisation’s quality management system.
