TAPA Standard for Transportation Asset Protection

TAPA standards unite global manufacturers, logistics providers, freight carriers, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders with the common aim of reducing losses from international supply chains.

Transportation security threats are becoming common to the supply chain industry. Through TAPA certification, Intertek can support clients with an extensive range of safety solutions, helping them to prepare and address security threats in any volatile trading environment.

The TAPA association has developed Facility Security Requirements (FSR) for the Supply Chain, which set minimum standards for security and industry best practices for facilities storing and handling HVTT assets. Facility Security Requirements (FSR) include:

  • warehouse security
  • Truck Security Requirements (TSR) for road transportation
  • Air Cargo (TACSS)
  • Food & Drugs security (FDFSR)

Intertek is able to offer TAPA certification in Southeast Asia, Australasia, and China.
