Doors and Frames Testing

Intertek offers complete testing and certification services for the door and frame industry.

We test to a variety of national and international door and frame standards including those published by ANSI/BHMA, SI, ISDI, NWWDA, ASTM, BS, CAN/ULC, CSFM, Miami-Dade County, HUD, ISO, NFPA, UBC, UL, and WDMA. 

Intertek is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) by OSHA, recognized by Standards Council of Canada (SCC), and A2LA, APLAC, and ILAC accredited for Asia and other parts of the world.   

Warnock Hersey (WH) Mark 

Certified doors and frames will bear the Warnock Hersey (WH) Mark. In fact, 80% of fire doors found in North America bear the WH Mark. Having Intertek’s WH Mark on your product reflects your commitment to product safety, performance and quality to inspectors, builders and end users.  

The presence of the WH Mark also demonstrates that you have implemented an approved quality control program and are undergoing quarterly manufacturing plant audits to maintain product consistency. Architects, owners, and building officials are familiar with the WHI Mark and know that the mark is a reflection of a quality product that will be accepted by all AHJ’s.
