Airbag Testing
Intertek's Airbag Testing capabilities include deployments (static, out of position, full vehicle chamber deployments, inflator ballistics) and conditioning (salt spray, thermal shock, vibration, ESD).
Intertek has three high-speed video cameras (1,000 to 4,000 fps), integrated high-speed digital video imaging and data acquisition.
Our Airbag Testing Accreditations
Intertek is accredited to A2LA (ISO/IEC 17025) for Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical Testing; the SCC (Standards Council of Canada; AMECA (Automotive Manufacturer's Equipment Compliance Agency) and we are a VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency) Approved Technical Service.

- Built-in arithmetic processing of data windows includes functions such as integration, differentiation, SAE J211 filters, and statistics
- Generation of test reports in MS Excel, using customer-controlled report templates
- Crash test software analysis with over 30 crash and injury criteria algorithms
