LEED Green Building Rating System
LEED certification is independent verification that a building meets the highest green construction and performance requirements.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is a certification program designed to support green building design, construction, and operations. It promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.
Intertek was one of the select few certification bodies to join in a pilot program to review LEED project submissions on behalf of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This program has given us an unmatched level of experience with the LEED Rating Systems and the certification process. Our on-staff LEED APs know first-hand what it takes to successfully submit a project to the USGBC. By partnering with Intertek, we can help you optimize your submission package so it meets all requirements and earns your project as high a rating as possible.
