Ir Paul Lambert ACMI Mechanical Properties

I obtained my chemical engineering degree (magna cum laude) from 'Universite Catholique de Louvain' (UCL- Belgium) in 1987 and specialised in Material Science.  In 1998 I joined ICI Technology within the Polymer Science Group where I worked on composite materials and adhesives for structural applications.  In 2001 I moved to the Mechanical Properties Department in the Measurement Science Group and used my understanding of materials to help develop measurement techniques and data analysis schemes in response to specific customer requirements.  I am a committee member of the European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS TC4) where I participate in developing testing protocols in the area of fracture of polymers, composites and adhesives.
