Rui Esteves

Rui has global responsibility for Intertek's AgriWorld business line which provides agricultural commodity assurance, inspection and testing services to support clients who trade, ship and store high value agri cargos across the world. AgriWorld assures the reduction of risk at every stage of our clients' supply chain, maintaining quality, quantity and traceability from farm to fork. Rui joined Intertek in 2010 following the acquisition of Moody International, as Regional Director Industry Services, South America. He then also led Intertek's Brazilian organisation as Country Managing Director. Prior to joining Intertek, Rui held various international executive roles in North, Central and South Americas; North and West Africa; UK and Southern Europe. Rui obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, with emphasis in International Trade, at the University of Southern Mississippi. Email Rui Esteves.

Gavin Campbell

Gavin joined Intertek in 1999 and has global responsibility for the Building & Construction business line which provides designers, constructors, manufacturers, owners, and regulatory authorities the assurance that projects are constructed as designed, using materials that meet all of the necessary requirements. Prior to assuming his current role, Gavin was responsible for the Commercial & Electrical division in Canada and led the C&E sales organisation in North America, having started his career on the technical side of the Building Products business in Canada. Calin Moldovean

Calin has global responsibility for the Intertek Business Assurance and Food Services operations, providing a wide range of assurance, testing, inspection and certification services, focused on helping Intertek customers identify and mitigate the intrinsic risks in their operations, supply chain and business processes. Since joining Intertek in 2008, Calin has held several senior management roles and lead a variety of global laboratory, auditing and training operations. Prior to 2008, Calin was VP of Auditing & Medical Services for the TÜV SÜD North American operations, having joined TÜV in 1992 as a Vehicle Technology Engineer, followed by progressive positions as Vehicle Safety Manager, Automotive Program Manager and Director of Operations. He became a certified lead auditor in 1996, auditing hundreds of organizations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Ian Galloway

Ian is responsible for the Middle-East, Africa and Global Trade comprising our business lines of Government & Trade Services, AgriWorld, and Cargo & Analytical Assessment, the largest global business line at Intertek, which covers a wide range of Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification services to downstream oil and gas and other similar industries. Prior to assuming his current role, Ian held senior finance and business roles within Intertek. He has previously held international roles in finance management with BG Group in the UK, Egypt and Tunisia. Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Email Ian Galloway

Saranpal (“Sunny”) Rai

Sunny Rai has global responsibility for Intertek's Electrical & Network Assurance business line which provides quality solutions to the electrical products industry worldwide; from auditing and inspection, to testing, training, advisory, quality assurance and certification. The Electrical & Network Assurance business line also provides comprehensive assurance solutions for evaluating performance, reliability, compliance and security for mobile devices and networks including the Internet of Things. Sunny joined Intertek in 1986 as a Project Engineer and has held various roles in engineering, sales and operational management for Semiconductor, Renewable Energy and Industrial product businesses for Intertek. Sunny holds a BSc in Physics from University of Delhi, India and a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from San Francisco, California. He is the Co-Chair of International Compliance & Regulatory Committee (ICRC) at SEMI, Task Group leader for IECRE PV scheme and an active member and leader of standards development organizations including UL, IEC, ASSE and SEMI. John Fowler

John leads Intertek's global Minerals and Exploration & Production business lines offering testing, inspection, assurance and certification services to the Resources industry. Joining Intertek in 1985, John has had various roles within the Minerals business line in Indonesia, West Africa, Canada and Australia. John has held responsibility for the Intertek Minerals business for over 20 years driving significant growth globally, and in 2016 assumed additional responsibility for the Exploration & Production business line. John qualified as a chemist at Auckland Technical Institute in New Zealand, initially working in the fields of environmental, pharmaceutical, minerals and forensic chemistry, including technical, management audit and assurance roles. Calin Moldovean

Thomas Kordick

Thomas is Global Business Line Leader for Government and Trade Services which provides assurance to governments on the quality of their imported shipments through conformity certification, ensuring that country and international standards are met to protect their citizens, environment and economy. GTS also provides governments with Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification services to enable safe and secure cross-border trade, as well as working with exporters, importers and manufacturers. In doing so, GTS delivers market access support to brands, manufacturers, retailers and traders, enabling products and shipments to meet industry, international and local standards and compliance requirements. Prior to joining Intertek in 2016, Thomas held senior management and executive management positions at CIBA Vision, Novartis, GE Lighting and PepsiCo. Email Thomas Kordick

John Qin

John Qin leads Intertek's global operations for Hardlines which provides innovative assurance, testing, inspection and certification services to retailers, brands, and manufacturers, ensuring the end-to-end quality assurance of consumer products. John joined Intertek in 1998 as a Quality Engineer and was quickly appointed as Quality Engineering Manager of Intertek's Consumer Goods division in China. He later became General Manager, China Operations, VP of Global Quality Engineering and in 2006, Vice President of Outsourcing Services. John has extensive experience and global leadership skills in the manufacturing and design arenas, as well as the global retail industry. Before joining Intertek, John held various engineering positions in the US, including Senior FEA Engineer for Lear Corporation (Ford Division), Project Engineer, Bertrand Faure Technical Center Inc., and Engineering Analyst, Magna International. John has a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Matthew Allen

Matthew has global responsibility for the Health, Environmental & Regulatory Services (HERS) business line. Since joining Intertek in 2016, Matthew has held several senior management roles including VP Strategic Development for HERS and VP Operations HERS for the Americas, before moving into his current role of VP Operations Global HERS. Matthew leads a global team of scientific, engineering and regulatory experts who provide assurance and advisory services in the areas of human and environmental health, toxicology and other scientific and regulatory assurance services for Chemicals & Biocides, Food & Nutrition, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Restricted Substances, Food Contact, and Environmental, Safety & Sustainability clients. Matthew is a Professional Chemical & Materials Engineer (P.Eng.) with over 20 years' engineering consulting experience in the areas of environmental, health & safety, pollution prevention, hazardous materials, infrastructure, spills and forensic engineering for claims and litigation support. Alex Buehler

Joined Intertek in 2017. Alex has responsibility for Global Resources, comprising our business lines of Industry Services, Minerals, and Exploration & Production. Prior to joining Intertek, Alex was President and CEO of Energy Maintenance Services (EMS) and before this held senior executive management positions at Energy Recovery and Insituform Technologies, Inc. (now Aegion Corporation) in both the U.S. and Europe. Alex has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.B.A. in Finance. Email Alex Buehler

Brian Gray

Brian joined Intertek in 2005 and has global responsibility for the Product Assurance business line. Prior to assuming his current role, Brian has held a number of roles including sales leadership crossing several business lines as well as leadership of group initiatives in North America, having started with Intertek as Major Accounts Manager for North America. In addition to Product Assurance, Brian also provides leadership to the Retail Services initiative for the Americas. Calvin Yam

Calvin leads Intertek's Softlines business, offering testing, inspection, assurance and certification services to fashion and footwear retailers worldwide. Before taking up his current role, Calvin held various key positions within Intertek at different locations globally, overseeing development and driving growth of the textiles testing and inspection business for over three decades. His broad exposure to and thorough understanding of the industry allows him to continuously layout innovative solutions that echo our customers' transition from pure product safety and quality management to supply chain assurance. In recent years the Softlines business has extended its service portfolio to a wider spectrum of solutions, including Chemical Smart Screening and Detox wastewater and sludge testing, empowering both retailers and consumers with Total Quality Assurance. Calvin obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Coloration at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and holds an MSc in Polymer Science from University of Bradford, UK. Tim Hubbard

Tim leads Intertek's Transportation Technologies business and brings more than 25 years of insight and experience to clients in the industry. Tim's background includes leading the delivery of product and regulatory compliance testing and engineering services on a world-wide basis as well as third-party automotive component and systems design and production validation, test engineering, and operational and business development management. Tim and his team provide assurance of total product quality through standard and test method training & advisory solutions, accredited certification, testing and inspection services to a wide range of automotive products, components and vehicle-technologies to assist global and local clients with their safety, quality and performance needs.
